How far along?
30 Weeks, 4 Days
Total
weight gain/loss:
+21 lbs
Maternity
clothes?
Leggings, tunics and sweater dresses have almost exclusively made up my wardrobe for the past few weeks. I found some great maxi dresses for my upcoming showers too :)
Stretch
marks?
Nope!
Sleep:
I discovered the secret trick is to sleep in an almost upright position. I prop myself up with my normal pillow and my body pillow. This seems to make breathing easier and keeps Taylor's karate moves to a minimum.
Best
moment this week:
Sounds creepy but I can now feel Taylor's hand/foot as she moves it across the length of my stomach. I love it! I just can't wait to meet her :)
Have
you told family and friends:
Yes!
Miss
Anything? 3/4 of my wardrobe.
Movement:
Lots! Mostly when she's repositioning or gets a hand/foot stuck under my ribs.
Food
cravings:
Well I successfully managed to satiate my cravings for Hibachi and Taco Bell last weekend :). Lately I have an insane craving for chocolate. The Cadbury Mini Eggs filling the aisles of the grocery stores aren't helping.
Anything
making you queasy or sick:
Nope!
Have
you started to show yet: Yep!
Gender
prediction: Officially
a girl!
Labor
Signs: No
Belly
Button in or out? Slowly
starting to come out.
Wedding
rings on or off?
On
Happy
or Moody most of the time: Happy Happy Happy
Looking
forward to:
Taylor's chandelier coming next week! I couldn't resist :)

29 weeks!
How far along?
29 Weeks, 4 Days
Total weight gain/loss: +20 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep, love them. In search of some cute maxi dresses for the next few months when it (hopefully) warms up!
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: I've been so exhausted lately that I haven't even been getting up to go to the bathroom at night. Sleeping like a baby :)
Best moment this week: I was walking through Marshalls and saw some of the most adorable holiday tutus for St. Patty's Day. I was overwhelmed with excitement for the holidays to come as a Mommy and sharing special moments with our new little girl.
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? The ability to have a normal conversation without sounding like I just ran a marathon.
Movement: Still experiencing some blows to the ribs but I love every second of it!
Food cravings: Last night I had a craving for hibachi chicken and rice which then quickly changed to a Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme. Sadly, I made chicken salad instead :(
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really sure what the cause is, but every morning I've had waves of nausea
Have you started to show yet: Yep!
Gender prediction: Officially a girl!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Slowly starting to come out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy lately. I've decided to stay as relaxed as possible and be conscious of stressors and how to manage them appropriately :)
Looking forward to: Decorating Taylor's bathroom. I just realized I haven't even started on that and it is WAY too "grown up" looking right now.

Valentine's Day Treats
Craig and I usually don't make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day. We're not really Hallmark Holiday people. I think things are a little different this year seeing as though we have a very special addition coming our way in May. We have plans to make a special dinner tonight and top it off with cheesecake cupcakes that I ordered. YUM! Then we'll go out Saturday night to eat at Bonterra. Eating out is a big deal for us because I never want to do ANYTHING on weekends. We have a Friday night routine of frozen pizza and then usually grill something on Saturdays. Fancy, I know.
Anyway, I woke up this morning (at 5:15, per usual, because I'm incredibly slow and lazy in the mornings) to find some festive V Day treats from the hubby on my sink in the bathroom.
The bottom box is full of Dove Truffles, my FAVORITE. What an awesome hubby :)
Being the Pinterest junkie that I am, I decided to craft up that adorable "I <3 You Because" picture frame that I keep seeing. I used stickers instead of a printable and applied them to Velum as an overlay for the background scrapbook paper. This way I can change out the background to match different holidays, seasons, etc. I'm sure that's a detail Craig will really notice and appreciate :).
I love him for many reasons, but lately it is overwhelmingly due to the fact that we will soon be parents to (in my opinion) the most wonderful little baby girl in the world! I can't wait to have a new little Valentine next year!

3rd Trimester - 28 weeks!
How
far along?
28 Weeks, 4 Days
Total weight gain/loss: +19 lbs
Maternity clothes? I LOVE maternity shirts. I've always preferred longer shirts anyway, but they are so soft and cozy :)
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well. I fall asleep at the drop of a hat and only wake up for bathroom breaks or night sweats :(
Best moment this week: Getting the glucose test over with! And waking up to my sweet hubby's Valentine's Day surprises :)
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach, sushi, a glass of wine...
Movement: Lots! She's all over the place. She keeps getting an arm or foot stuck under my right rib cage.
Food cravings: Waffles! Which I will be making tomorrow morning :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of broccoli the other day made me gag.
Have you started to show yet: Yep!
Gender prediction: Officially a girl!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Flat
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: I have a pretty short fuse which my mother has brought to my attention more than once :) Craig's also told me I've been a little nasty lately. Woops? :)
Looking forward to: Working from home tomorrow! My doctor said I need to step up the Vitamin D so I will likely be sitting on the patio with my laptop soaking up some rays!

How far along? 27 Weeks, 4 Days
Total weight gain/loss: +18 lbs
Maternity clothes? I've started quite a collection. Leggings and demi panel pants are my favorite. Finding long enough shirts is proving to be a little challenging though.
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: As long as I run or workout after work, I sleep like a baby. Just can't get enough of it!
Best moment this week: Feeling our sweet girl do actual somersaults in my belly. Seriously, she's all over the place!
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Running without a bunch of pregnancy related discomforts. It is entirely worth it though!
Movement: As noted above, we have a gymnast on the way :)
Food cravings: I dedicated my chalkboard to cravings this week. The weirdest is Chef Boyardee Ravioli. Pretty gross, huh? I have yet to give in to it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Have you started to show yet: Yep!

Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Still in :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!
Looking forward to: Receiving some additional items for the nursery that should be delivered over the next week!

Daddy's 80th!
G Diddy, Gordie, or as I like to call him, Daddy, turned 80 on SuperBowl Sunday! I got him a card that said something along the lines of "the youngest 80 year old the world has ever known" and this could not be more true. He continues to work full time and travels for week long stretches at a time, all over the country! I'm sure having 3 toddlers while in his 50's was not an easy task but it sure kept him young and on his toes :).
Kendall got him the festive balloons and came up with a clever little poster duo to commemorate the big day. Courtney made us a BBQ feast and we all got to spend some quality time together and watch the game before G Diddy heads off on another trip tomorrow.
We dug up an old picture of him when he was just 36 and had it put on his cake. What a handsome devil! :) Here's to 20 more years and making it to 100!
