Warrior Dash

Craig and I competed in our 2nd mud run this past weekend.  The Warrior Dash was held at Rural Hill in Huntersville.  This one was a cake walk compared to the Spartan Sprint, but it was still very muddy! 

Courtney, Bill and Melissa were also in our heat along with several others from Time Warner.  Max even rode his bike out to the race and was able to take a video of us as we crossed the finish line.  The picture above is courtesy of his IPhone :). We stayed pretty clean until the end of the race when you literally had to crawl through clay and under barbed wire to reach the finish.

I think there's another one in September and I'm already looking forward to it!

San Diego

Craig and I returned to San Diego at the end of April to celebrate our 1 year anniversary!  I can't believe how quickly this past year flew by.  San Diego was the perfect place to celebrate this milestone as we both absolutely love it there!

The past few times we've been we did the whole touristy bit and went to the zoo and Wild Animal park.  We even made it to some vineyards in Temecula and Las Vegas one year!  This year we decided to take it easy and relax on the beach as much as possible.  It was perfect.

The first day we ventured out to the beach under a very overcast sky and still ended up getting a lot of sun!  Hence the second picture which pretty much sums up Craig's beach experience for the remainder of the week.  He's crazy.

Brasco drove down from LA for the last two nights and craziness ensued! We spent the first night at PB Shore Club where they serve RedBull/Vodka Slushies! The next day we drove up to Encinitas for banana pancakes and strawberry picking before going to a Padres game downtown. Very fun trip and I can't wait to go back!
