We had quite a busy weekend! On Saturday, Billy played in his Senior Game so Craig and I went to cheer him on. Connie and Max made some hysterical "Big Heads" of all the seniors. They ended up being a big hit! I can't believe Billy will be graduating this Spring and Connie and Max will be done with all of their worldly Lacrosse traveling!
On Sunday we went up to Fort Mill to celebrate Donnie and June's upcoming birthdays and wish farewell to Donnie as he heads off to China! Donnie Lee made a Low Country Shrimp Boil and it was delicious!

Brighton's Weekend with Uncle Craig and Aunt KiKi
Season and Jason had a Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding to attend over Easter weekend so Craig and I were lucky enough to get to watch Brighton for two nights. We had an absolute blast! We had a football shaped Easter basket with basketball Easter eggs that we used to go on several Easter Egg hunts in the house.
Once the weather finally cleared up we decided to go to Freedom Park and visit the ChooChoo. They have an old train car that you can actually go inside of, so that was a lot of fun for little Brighton. Afterwards we walked around the pond and looked for ducks.
I think it is safe to say that we underestimated just how much energy a two year old has, but we had so much fun and can't wait until we can watch him again!
Beach Weekend
The weekend after the Spartan Sprint, we decided to take a quick trip down to Myrtle Beach to enjoy the weather and relax a little bit. We took Friday off and were able to lay out on the beach which was very nice for late March! That night we decided to check out the boardwalk and play some games. As you can see, basketball is not my forte. I overshot just a tad.
Saturday we went to the Market Common for a festival they were having. The Market Common is a huge shopping center that reminds me of Birkdale and surrounds a very nice park.
Spartan Race
We've had a busy few weekends so I actually have quite a few posts and pictures to share! :) I'll start with the Spartan Sprint that Craig and I participated in at the WhiteWater Center on March 24th. It is basically a glorified Mud Run through the trails and Catawba River with several obstacles and a TON of mud along the way. They had several photographers stationed throughout the race to capture some of the muddiest parts :)
I must have been making worse faces than Craig because for some reason we couldn't find many pictures of him. The one below is showing one ofthe obstacles where we had to haul some cinder block on a chain up and around a hill.
Finally, at the end we had to jump over a fire. It was a lot of fun and we will definitely be doing another one!
