Lake Visit

Craig and I went to visit with Jason, Season and Brighton this weekend and had so much fun!  It's amazing how quickly Brighton has grown into a little boy.  He's walking/running all over the place!  He knows so many words already and we even got him to say Aunt Kelly!  Although I'm thinking I like Aunt KiKi.  Craig came up with it and it's starting to grow on me.  Everyone else has cute little names to go by so I may as well join in.

My friend at work, Gina, also celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday.  She collects pigs so I made her homemade pig cupcakes!  I'm going to be such a good Mommy one day!

Girls Trip and New House!

Last weekend I went with some girls from work up to the Maggie Valley and we had a ball!  One of the ladies owns the house we stayed in and it was so nice to get away and have some good laughs together.  We made homemade fondue one night and played CatchPhrase until our sides ached :).  Craig got to have a boys weekend and went golfing and fishing with some friends and his dad and brother.  He didn't share any pictures of his adventures ;).

Craig and I also have some very exciting news!  We've always planned on moving out of center city and buying a house so we can spread out a little bit.  He was actually lucky enough to find a tenant to rent the condo starting in October so we had to speed up our plans and will be moving into a house September 1st!   Since we weren't expecting this transition so soon, we decided to rent so we can feel out different areas of Charlotte prior to settling down permanently. 



Crazy Busy Summer

Happy August!  I can't believe the summer has flown by so quickly.  Things have been crazy and I just haven't had a chance to give any updates.  There's a lot to catch up on so here we go :)...

A couple weekends ago Mickey and Jason came uptown to go to the Beer Garden and Comedy Zone with Craig and I.  Craig and I rocked cornhole at the VGBG and then off we went to see John Witherspoon, Craig's Dad in Friday.  It was definitely a good time, but I have to admit that I could barely understand the man and probably missed a lot of the humor :(.

Craig and I also took off for a long weekend to the beach last weekend.  It was absolutely beautiful weather the entire time and we were able to see Geitner a few times, which is always a load of fun :)  Hopefully Geitner and his girlfriend, Britt, will be able to come visit in September and go to the Greenbay/Panthers game.
