Maternity Workouts!


Almost two weeks have gone by since my last belly picture and I really will try to post one tonight or tomorrow. I've been struggling with finding the creativity and motivation for my chalkboard designs. This is most likely because every ounce of creativity I can muster up is being used to find pairs of pants I can actually still fit in with this growing (and oh so wonderful!) baby bump!


I have realized that it is very easy to get wrapped up in self loathing during pregnancy. Indulging in the cravings, skipping the gym, eating entire bags of peanut butter M&Ms....


That being said, I decided to step up my work outs and get back on track with running. Last Thursday Craig and I took Bentley on our first neighborhood run and made it 2.5 miles. Saturday we went to the gym to do weights for an hour and then came home and ran 3 miles! We rode our bikes around the neighborhood for 6 miles on Sunday and then yesterday I forced myself to go to the gym after work and run on the treadmill for 3 miles.



These don't sound like huge accomplishments, but being that I'm 6 months pregnant, I'm pretty proud of myself :) I even documented the proof on my phone!  As you can see from MapMyRun, slow and steady wins the race :).  The second one was a moving shot on the treadmill yesterday.  No, I did not run 3 miles in 15 seconds..I pressed pause to take the picture and it started a countdown to resume the workout.  I think the time was something like 29:30.  Woo hoo!
